Goals, Self-Care, Self-Worth

Stop Imagining and Do It Now

I found this in John Maxwell’s book, “The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth.” I connected to it and think some of you may as well:

If there were ever a time to dare,

To make a difference,

To embark on something worth doing,

It is now.

Not for any grand cause, necessarily –

But for something that tugs at your heart,

Something that’s your aspiration,

Something that’s your dream.

You owe it to yourself to make your days here count.

Have fun.

Dig deep.

Stretch.

Dream big.

Know, though, that things worth doing seldom come easy.

There will be good days.

And there will be bad days.

There will be times when you want to turn around,

Pack it up, and call it quits.

Those times tell you that you are pushing yourself,

That you are not afraid to learn by trying.

It can be scary to take a chance. It can be uncomfortable, unsettling and uneasy, yet imagine what it could be like and who you could be once you get through those feelings.

Imagine who you could be if you pursued your dreams and goals. Is your goal to lose 20 lbs.? Is your goal to have more energy? Is your goal to run around this summer with your kids without feeling short of breath? If you started taking steps today to reach your goal, imagine how different things could be in 3 months.

You deserve to feel better, to be happier and to live the life you’ve always dreamed of.

It is up to you to take that first step to pursue your dreams. Take the chance, you are worth it!

I’m here to help!
